Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS)


 
United South Central School has become a PBIS School System focusing on Rebel Pride postive behavior in our school.

PBIS (PBIS.Org © 2011) refers to a systems change process for our school district. The intention of creating a PBIS school is to teach, with consistency, behavioral expectations to our students the same as we would any other academic area. These expectations are intended to not only become a part of the students' academic daily behavior, but instead expectations that extend to the home, community, and school.

USC PBIS has a core team of parents, community members, staff, and administrators, that meet monthly to oversee the implementation process in our school.

USC has three positive behavioral expectations that are taught to students in grades pre-k through 12th grade. We refer to these expectations as USC Rebel Rights. Our Rebel Rights include: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Safe.
