Director of Information Technology
United South Central Schools is accepting applications for a director of information technology. Under direct supervision of the superintendent, the director of information technology provides leadership, planning, training and coordination of all aspects of the technology department including tech integration. Must have experience and expertise in technology infrastructure hardware, software and networking. Primary tasks will involve installation, configuration, administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of server/network infrastructure hardware and software systems so that all systems are usable by students and staff. The selected candidate will have experience maintaining firewalls, content filtering, Wi-Fi networking, virtualized data center hardware/software, cloud application servers; data backups, mobile device management, email services, security cameras, and telephone systems.
