Paraprofessional

 United South Central Schools has an opening for a  paraprofessional (approximately 6.5 hours per day).  Applicants must have either a two-year degree or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment (this can be completed during the first month of employment). Qualified applicants should have successful experience working with school-age children, have the ability to take charge of student behavior as circumstances suggest, skills to assist students in learning, the ability to work in a supportive relationship with teachers, and the ability to adapt to different classroom environments and teaching/learning styles.  If you are looking for a rewarding opportunity and join our exceptional student-centered staff at USC Public Schools, then perhaps this position is perfect for you.  Prior experience is beneficial but not required.
