With summer in full swing, United South Central is buzzing with activity as several projects take shape. Our LED retrofit lighting project is progressing quickly, with crews completing 3-5 classrooms per day. Meanwhile, contractors for our new van garage will begin staking and surveying early next week. Our technology team has received our brand-new Chromebooks for next year and is working on checking in and prepping old devices for resale. Over at the bus garage, installers are adding new stop-arm cameras to the buses, funded by a Department of Transportation grant. June, July, and August are our opportunity to keep our facility in great shape and get ready for our students’ return in September. Summer’s off to a great start at USC!
