USC Proud: Recognizing Exceptional Support After October Board Meeting

At the November 18, 2025, United South Central School Board meeting, the district highlighted an example of true teamwork and dedication that occurred in late October.

At our last home football game of the year, we discovered that a module in the stadium PA system amplifier had failedβ€”just minutes  before that evening’s playoff game. Thanks to the quick response and expertise of Tyler and Matt, the system was restored in short order.

Tyler, who had presented at the October board meeting, had just arrived home before turning around and heading back to Wells to troubleshoot the issue. Matt, though no longer a USC employee for more than two years, once again stepped up as an invaluable resource. He contributed over an hour of hands-on work, helped haul a speaker system from the building, and partnered with Tyler to get the audio equipment functioning for the game.

The board expressed appreciation for both individuals, noting that their willingness to respond, problem-solve, and support the district embodies the spirit of being β€œUSC Proud.” Their efforts ensured the game went on as planned and demonstrated the strength of the USC community when unexpected challenges arise.
