First-grade students have been excitedly exploring the human body through their new CKLA reading curriculum. As young scientists, they are learning all about the esophagus, the stomach, and how food moves through the digestive system—among other highlights. Their curiosity has sparked excellent classroom discussions, hands-on activities, and a growing fascination with how the human body works.
