United South Central School District

The United South Central School Board welcomed a new student representative at its December meeting, following a selection process that began earlier this fall. In mid-November, the Board interviewed  candidates for the student representative position. Garrett Lau was selected to serve in the role. While Garrett was present at the November school board meeting, the administration delayed his official oath of office until December to allow his family the opportunity to attend the ceremony. The Board expressed enthusiasm about Garrett’s addition and looks forward to his contributions alongside fellow student representative Alyssa Winkle. Together, they will provide valuable student perspective to the Board’s work throughout the year.
