United South Central Middle/High School is looking for a 1.0 FTE English Language Arts teacher to join our student-centered staff at USC Public Schools for the 2026-2027 school year.
The USC district serves 740 students in South Central Minnesota. Our K-12 building provides an intimate and student-focused approach to educating each of our students. The staff at USC works collaboratively to provide the best educational experience every day, and we are looking for an individual who can help create a cohesive overall educational experience for our student body.
As MCA testing at USC gets underway, we appreciate your partnership in helping students feel prepared and confident. Small, consistent habits at home can make a big difference in setting our students up for success.

March 23 - 27 is Spring Week at USC! Check out our dress-up days for all students and staff!
United South Central Schools will start two hours late tomorrow, March 17, due to the condition of back roads across the district. Morning preschool will be canceled.
We are hopeful that additional daylight will allow road conditions to improve and help ensure a safe trip to school for our students and staff. Please travel carefully in the morning.

Students in our Modern US History course participated in their last experiential history lesson of the year. They made "Trench Cake," a treat that was occasionally sent to American and British soldiers in the trenches during the First World War. Thank you to the USC Education Foundation for funding this wonderful lesson.
