Our Big Rebel Mentors had a holiday party with their elementary Little Rebels on Thursday. They spent time making holiday crafts and sharing a snack together. 70+ high school and elementary students are participating in the program this year!
Juniors have been creating Children's Books based on the novel they read in class. This past week, they brought them to the Kindergarten classes to share them! They also answered questions and asked the Kindergarteners about the characters to foster comprehension.
The USC Jazz Band entertained students during lunch before the Holiday break.
At its December meeting, the USC School Board approved the formation of a community-based Facilities Taskforce to evaluate our district’s space needs and explore potential solutions, including possible building modifications. This group will collaborate to develop recommendations that align with shared goals and help USC best serve our students. Community involvement is essential to this process. Please see the attached flyer for more details on the taskforce’s purpose, process, and how you can stay informed along the way.
