This week, students in Early European History participated in an experiential history lesson! Students reproduced a recipe from Hildegard von Bingen's medieval healing treatise, Physica. Students created "cookies" using the traditional recipe and a modernized version. Thank you to USC's Education Foundation for funding this engaging lesson on medieval cooking and culture!
